Naš unutrašnji svet radi isto. Svaka nezavršena situacija — neizgovorena rečenica, neoplakan gubitak, konflikt koji je „zataškan" umesto razrešen, odluka koju odlažeš mesecima — ostaje otvoren ciklus. A otvoren ciklus ne miruje. On drži deo tvoje pažnje i deo tvoje energije zauzetim, non-stop, i kad spavaš.
Zato neki razgovori u glavi traju godinama. Zato se noću vraćaš na istu scenu i „dovršavaš" je, po sto puta, svaki put malo drugačije. To nije slabost karaktera — to je nezavršen ciklus koji traži svoj kraj. I naplaćuje kiriju dok ga ne dobije.
Najpodmuklije od svega: na taj šum se navikneš. Kao ventilator koji bruji ceo dan — ne čuješ ga dok ne stane. Ljudi posle sesije često kažu istu rečenicu: „Nisam znao koliko me je to koštalo, dok nije prestalo." Tek u tišini shvatiš koliko je buke bilo.

That's why some conversations in your head last for years. That's why at night you return to the same scene and "finish" it, a hundred times, slightly differently each time. That's not weak character — that's an unfinished cycle looking for its ending. And charging rent until it gets one.
The most insidious part: you get used to the noise. Like a fan humming all day — you don't hear it until it stops. After a session people often say the same sentence: "I didn't know how much it was costing me until it stopped." Only in the silence do you realise how loud it was.
